Bob & Sam was an internal animation featurette conceived of by Jason Guerrero, who was then animation supervisor at Hurd Studios. The tale follows the tireless journey of a lone sperm cell in search of its soulmate, the egg.
Bob & Sam has been shown at numerous film festivals around the world, including the HBO Comedy Festival in Aspen, Colorado.
My role involved texture painting of both characters, set and prop creation, lighting and compositing. Additionally, I headed promotion of the film on the festival circuit.
